My 35 foot rig, with an exhaust pipe dangling inches from the pavement and a damaged drivetrain, was about to lay down and die (all consequential to an ice-hardened snowbank refusing to give way when the rig clipped it in jam-packed rush hour traffic with NO shoulder nor suitable exit available). My family called “the mechanic without limits, borders or conditions” the rig doctor of Michigan, Michael Gilmore. This polite and well-spoken truck medic showed up. The weather could not have been nastier but Gilmore was not deterred and set about to repair the damaged rig. His diagnostic explanations were articulate and instructive and even offered solid advice. He was our best Christmas gift!
